Updates...

We are still stuck in Altus, Oklahoma.  Though time is flying, it's feels like forever before we finally get to England.  Which, by the way, is March 20, we hope.  As long as we all have some sort passport and visa, we are going.  We will be leaving from Florida.  The boys and I are going to be going to Florida sometime around the first couple weeks of February while Jeffery is at S.E.R.E.  After S.E.R.E, Jeffery will come out to Florida to spend some time with the Grandparents and his cousins and aunt and uncle.

Can time go any slower?

It's Christmas time again, since we are going to be overseas for four years it's only right that we visit the WHOLE family before we leave *Jeffery's family, mine still lives in Oklahoma*, so we are going to California.  We are very excited to see the family, to eat In N Out, and of course, thankful that we get to leave this state!

The boys are doing wonderful.  Robert is a whopping 4 months old.  He's getting so big but he's still a little guy!  Much smaller than Cyan was at 4 months.  He's very smart.  He thinks that he's ready to start crawling, walking and be independent already, but Mommy knows better!  I am not ready to have 2 mobile children.  Cyan is all the mobility I need.

Cyan LOVES being a big brother, he's very good at it too!  He likes to help me change "Baby Brother's" (Robert's) diaper.  Since Robert fell off the bed, *Yes, Robert crawled off the bed, visit Facebook and check the notes* Cyan gets very nervous if Robert looks like something isn't safe.  Like when he's on the bed or when someone is playing with him, he always says "be careful with Baby Brother".    Robert seems to love Cyan just as much.  He thinks that everything his big brother does is the funniest thing he's ever seen, honestly it probably is.

I think this is it for now.

Robert Warren Ford

Was born on 19 AUG 2008 at 1737.  He weighed 6 lbs 3.4 oz and was 19.5" long.  We are so excited for him to finally be here.  The whole labor thing went fairly well.  Except for the whole I.V. thing.  The nurse that tried to start my I.V. first was new, and I don't think she knew what she was doing.  She missed twice, and the second time in my hand was awful.  She just kept going even after I yelled at her. AHHH  Another nurse got it in, but said it probably would stick, and that it would have be redone, but kept it in my arm, so therefore I have a HUGE bruise.  The third nurse, missed once but finally decided to use a smaller needle and got it in, on the 5th TRY!!!  I was furious by the end of that, and scared that the rest of the day was going to terribly wrong too!  I finally began active labor between 11oo and 12oo.  I did okay, that breathing that Mrs. Glover taught in the birthing class really helps.  Around 1600, I couldn't take the pain any longer and go the epidural.  After that I was just fine.  At this time I was dilated to a 5.  A little less than an hour later, I was feeling too much pressure down below, and my nurse came in and checked me and I was dilated to a 9 and almost ready to go.  About 15 minutes later the doctor came in and I pushed.  I pushed 3 times.  The first time he crowned, the second his head was out and the third his whole body was out.  It only took about 15 minutes for him to be born.  It was amazing.  I got to watch the whole thing through the reflection of the doctor's glasses.  And now here we are with a beautiful little boy!  We are so blessed to have such beautiful, healthy, wonderful little boys!!!

Great Baby News...

We are going to be induced on 19 AUG 2008.  This is a very special day, because it's also my Grandma's birthday!!!  She is very excited that she and the baby will be sharing a birthday.  I am very excited because I will no longer be pregnant, and I get to hold my little baby in my arms rather than carrying him around in my belly! LOL

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted and I haven't even had the baby yet.  I think it's because I know that Tuesday will be the last day I will pregnant.  I will go no further than Tuesday, but it could be earlier.  *Sigh*  It's almost over.

Cyan is Hilarious...

We were in the car and Jeffery was teaching Cyan a joke.  Jeffery said "Knock, Knock" and Cyan says, "Daddy, you scared the crap out of me".  I thought that was the funniest thing I have ever heard!!

Kids are so much fun sometimes.

About US...

I probably should have posted this before the "Baby News", but my brain is a little scattered so there is nothing wrong with my blog to be that way too!!

Jeffery and I met in 2006 while he was on casual status at Vance AFB, Enid, Oklahoma.  I was living in Del City, Oklahoma.  We talked on the computer and on the phone for quite a while before we started "dating".  After 3 weeks of dating, Cyan and I moved to Enid to live with Jeffery in November.  Two months later, on 2 January 2007, Jeffery and I tied the knot at the Oklahoma City Court House.  Now here we are, one year later with a little Ford on the way, and getting ready to "cross the Pond" to go live in England for 3 years!

Jeffery's first assignment is to RAF Mildenhall, UK.  We are very excited, especially Jeffery.  He has wanted to go to Europe since I have known him, and he has told me that he has wanted to go even before we met.  We plan on seeing all of Europe in the three years we are there.  We have a friend that is going to be in Okinawa, Japan and we plan on visiting him as well.  My goal is to go to every Disney Land, Paris, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.  Then I can say that I have been to EVERY Disney in the WORLD!!!

I currently stay home with Cyan.  I have decided not to go to work until after I get a degree and when the boys are in school.  I want to teach high school math.  It will take a while to get my degrees but I have the time, at 5 years before the youngest is in school.  Jeffery says that I don't ever have to work, but just get a degree.  Because statistically, if both parents went to/finished college the kids are more than likely to go and finish too!

I think that's all for now.

Baby News...

We are hoping that "Baby Boy Ford" will be here by next Friday.  We would really like for him to arrive that Friday so that his birthday will be 08/08/08!  We are all getting very anxious to meet him.  My entire family has called today to make sure I haven't had him yet.  They are all driving me crazy!! LOL

Cyan has no idea that it's getting close.  Hopefully, he will do okay when the baby gets here.  Right now he thinks that all the baby stuff is for him.  So far, that's not a good sign.  I am sure that Cyan will be a great big brother once the time comes for it!

Keep your fingers crossed that it happens soon!!!
